Our sports therapy clinic in Somersham welcomes patients from Huntingdon, St Ives, Ramsey, Chatteris, Warboys, Willingham, Earith, Bluntisham and the surrounding villages. Sports therapy appointments are available Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling.
What Is Sports Therapy?
Sports Therapy is highly structured, through voluntary self regulation, and all Sports Therapists at Harding Physiotherapy are degree qualified and registered with The Society of Sports Therapists. Our sports therapists hold degree-level qualifications in Sports Therapy and are trained in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. They use evidence-based practice and current clinical guidelines to manage both acute and chronic injuries across all age groups and activity levels.
While sports therapy shares overlap with physiotherapy, it has a particular strength in sports injury management, return-to-sport rehabilitation and understanding the biomechanical demands of sport and exercise.
